What documents are required?

Requirements for founders and business

Foreign citizens and companies can open businesses in Russia, but there are a number of restrictions:

foreign legal entities can be founders only if the company has more than one owner

restrictions for insurance companies: the share of foreign capital in them cannot exceed 50%

tax benefits for small businesses do not apply if the share of a foreign founder is 50% or more

the following types of activities are prohibited for companies with foreign participation:

mining and development of deposits

defense industry

leasing land in border and port areas

processing of radioactive waste

publishing and telecommunications activities
